Marketing teams don’t lack ideas for video. They lack production time. Every blog post, launch and report could become a short for LinkedIn, Reels and Shorts, but each one competes for the same designer, and the backlog wins.

Motiongist turns the content you already publish into narrated motion-design shorts in your brand look. Someone writes or approves the brief, someone reviews the storyboard, and the video goes out on the channels you use, with copy written for each.

How it works

From the content calendar to scheduled shorts

  1. Step 1

    Repurpose what you published

Link a blog post, drop a report as a PDF, or paste the launch script. The video sticks to its source.

  2. Step 2

    Lock the brand

Import your name, logo and colors from your website once, and use the brand look on every video from the Solo plan.

  3. Step 3

    Review before anyone pays

The free storyboard step is your review stage: check the messaging, reorder scenes, cut the claim legal won’t like.

  4. Step 4

    Schedule it

Edit the generated post copy for each platform, then publish or schedule to LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Publishing costs no credits.

Example

A survey report turned into a LinkedIn short

What you give: “customer-survey-2026.pdf. Key findings for support leaders. Must show: the top three findings as numbers.”

What the video shows, scene by scene

  1. 0–5 s

Hook. The report cover flips open. Title: “We asked support leaders what changed this year.”

  2. 5–20 s

Finding one. The first figure from the report counts up, with a one-line label in your brand color.

  3. 20–33 s

Finding two. A simple bar chart puts two figures from the report side by side.

  4. 33–46 s

Finding three. A bold card states the third finding in plain words.

  5. 46–56 s

Call to action. Your logo and “Read the full report”, matching the button on the share page.

Why Motiongist

What changes for the team

  • One brand look, every video

Colors and logo applied to titles, charts and captions, so ten videos from five people still look like one team made them.

  • Post copy per platform

A title, a description and hashtags for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn, within each platform’s limits and editable before posting.

  • Publish or schedule

Connect your accounts and post now or at a set date, straight from the video page.

  • Room for the whole team

Team includes 5 seats, 4 renders in parallel and one invoice, with 100,000 credits a month.

  • A built-in review step

Edit, reorder, add or remove scenes before rendering, at no cost.

  • One long piece, many shorts

On the Team plan, a long guide or webinar transcript becomes a series of 2 to 12 episodes.

Where it fits in a content plan

Use it for explainers: what a product does, how a process works, what a report found, why a trend matters. Those are the posts that need a diagram or a number on screen, and the hardest to make with a phone camera.

It isn’t made for talking-head content, creator-style ads, or footage of your team and office. It uses no stock footage and no avatars.

Watch out for

Numbers come from the source you give. If a report is the source, the figures on screen come from it, but check them in the storyboard before rendering. Videos are vertical 9:16 for now; horizontal 16:9 is coming soon.

What it costs

One credit balance. A short video is 400 credits, a standard one 700, a long one 1,000, plus 1 credit per 10 narrated characters for the final voice.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can several people work in the same workspace?

Yes, on Team, which includes 5 seats. Solo and Studio are single-seat plans.

How many videos can we make a month?

It depends on length and options. Studio includes 30,000 credits a month and Team 100,000; a standard video is 700 credits plus the final voice. Past the monthly allowance on those plans, videos keep rendering in a slower queue.

Is there an approval workflow?

Not a formal one with sign-offs. The free storyboard step is where the team reviews the script and the scenes before anything renders, and a share link lets anyone watch the result without an account.

Can we schedule posts?

Yes, to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn, now or at a set date, with the post copy for each. Publishing costs no credits.

Can we use the videos in paid campaigns?

Paid plans export without a watermark, and final voices carry a commercial license. Videos are labelled as AI-generated, and we ask you to disclose it when you publish. See pricing.
