Mark time with words, not tenses
Indonesian verbs don’t change for tense, so time comes from words like sudah, sedang, akan or nanti. Make them explicit when the order of steps matters.
Plurals by context
Nouns don’t take a plural ending; context or reduplication (buku-buku) does the job. Don’t force plurals copied from an English draft.
Choose between English and Indonesian tech terms
“Unduh” or “download”, “aplikasi” or “app”: both are used. Pick what your audience says and keep it consistent between narration and titles.
Use local number formats
A decimal comma and a dot for thousands: Rp1.500.000 or 2,5. Round figures for narration.
